The Solar Power Applications Community or what we call the "SopoApps Community" is sponsored by Sopogy to bring the World's best thermal engineers, engineering students and solar enthusiasts together.  In the SopoApps community we create and share basic system templates for thermal energy applications using MicroCSP solar concentrating technology.  

As a community, we believe by creating basic templates we can help speed the adoption of MicroCSP systems.  We believe this is a win-win as all these designs require additional engineering work and the engineering community benefits through the sale of their services as provided by local consultants and contractors.  

All designs submitted to SopoApps are open sourced and available for public benefit.

By participating in SopoApps, you hereby grant and assign to Sopogy and its agent the rights, whole or in part, to release your project package submission. These rights include reproduction, translation, and citation. It is understood that Sopogy does not accept responsibility for any content within the project package submission that may be found to be libelous, infringing on copyright or other intellectual property rights, invading individual privacy or to be otherwise unlawful.

Our technical experts will confer and review designs to ensure they are compliant with the necessary open-source requirements and are comprehensive enough to be published.
